Active substances no longer on the market

Active substances and product types where either all participants have withdrawn from the EU review programme or for which no complete dossier has been submitted to the competent authorities shall not be included in Annex I/IA following Decisions of the EU Commission (see file-link). The placing on the market of biocidal products for these specified substance/product-type combinations is thus prohibited with effect from the date as layed down in the respective Commission Decision. An up-to-date list of all Commission Decisions concerning the non-inclusion of certain substances in Annex I or IA to Directive 98/8/EC can be accessed via the file link in the infobox. The most recent Commission Decision has been adopted 11 February 2012.
