Publication of decisions
With effect from November 2018, ECHA is planning to publish authorisations for biocidal products. The SPC (Summary of Product Characteristics) and parts of decisions which the biocide authority has released as "public" will be published.
Publication of decisions
No company or trade secrets such as chemical formulas, quantities or relationships in the supply chain will be published. The Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism reviewed all Austrian authorisations in R4BP in the summer of 2018 to ensure that secret data remains secret.
The published SPC will contain some data concerning product composition. These are 1) the active substance content, 2) the content of substances of concern and 3) the content of other ingredients of which the public must be informed to ensure the proper use of the biocidal product.
